Brannan Doyle

Brannan Doyle is a Senior Data Analyst with STR’s Product Insights team. Brannan joined STR’s Pipeline Research team in 2013, fresh out of Vanderbilt’s Engineering Science program, and quickly fell in love with applying his problem-solving skillset to the rich hotel performance database that STR maintains. After moving up to the Destination Research department, he assumed the lead on STR’s annual School Break Report (SBR), learned how to build insightful data graphics in Excel and Tableau, developed the Recurring Event Impact report, and – in the wake of the COVID pandemic – built STR’s first temporary hotel closure analysis. Today, Brannan handles weekly ForwardSTAR reports, models weekly performance for the Las Vegas Strip and Walt Disney World, and continues to helm the SBR. Brannan is a regular contributor to CoStar's Hospitality blog and a variety of other hospitality publications, crafting innovative and engaging visuals that bring data to life. Brannan lives in Nashville, his hometown and favorite place to be.
