D Boone Pittman is a Kentucky singer-songwriter whose music lives where country, Appalachian folk, bluegrass, and Americana meet—built on honest storytelling and lived experience.
Based in Central Kentucky, Pittman has spent years carving out a career on his own terms, writing songs about home, family, love, loss, addiction, redemption, and the complicated people and places that shape us.
Pittman was named 2024 Songwriter of the Year and won 2025 Song of the Year at the Josie Music Awards. In 2026, Pittman was selected as a Tennessee Songwriter's Week winner, earning a performance at Nashville's legendary Bluebird Cafe. The milestone added another chapter to a career that has taken him from listening rooms and honky-tonks to theaters, festivals, and stages across the United States and the United Kingdom.
His fifth studio album, Rust, released in April 2026, continues the plainspoken, roots-driven songwriting that has become his signature. Rust, features the current hit single “Sunshine” climbing the Music Row Country Radio charts presently. The album followed 2025's Tyrone Blues EP and Holla Holler live release, adding to a catalog that now includes five studio albums and two live records.
For Pittman, the goal has never been to chase whatever country music is supposed to sound like this year. It's simpler than that: write songs that mean something, play them like you mean them, and find the people who need to hear them.
