Malcolm brings more than 25 years of destination marketing and management experience in the North American market to TURNER, working with a variety of domestic U.S. and international destinations. Previously, he worked with destinations such as Greater Miami CVB, Discover The Palm Beaches, Visit California, Visit Namibia and Tourism Tasmania (Australia), and in-house with Tourism Australia and VisitBritain. His current client roster includes Tourism Australia, Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, Travel Indiana, Visit Florida Keys & Key West and Visit Bardstown. Malcolm’s extensive experience in the industry enables him to successfully lead destination brands to develop results-driven earned media strategies as part of integrated marketing programs to reach travel business tourism decision makers and the end consumer in both the U.S. and Canadian markets. He is a Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) accredited by Destinations International, a member of the TravMedia IMM North America Board and a TURNER representative in the Travel Media Association of Canada. Based in New York City and fluent in Brazilian Portuguese, Malcolm holds a bachelor’s degree in tourism management from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.
