Professional Bio

Raised in the heart of Rhea County, I have always been deeply connected to my roots and the community that shaped me. Growing up in this picturesque part of Tennessee provided me with a unique perspective on life, one that values community, hard work, and the beauty of the natural world.
My academic journey began at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN, where I pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication with a minor in Health. My pursuit of higher education continued at Bryan College in Dayton, TN, where I earned a Master of Business Administration specializing in Sports Management.
After completing my education, I embarked on a journey that took me around the world. One of the most significant experiences of my life was spending two years in Japan as an ambassador for the Japanese Government to specifically increase tourism to Tennessee through a sister-city relationship.
Upon returning to the United States, I took on a role at Bryan College in Dayton, TN, where I managed social media and website content, as well as other marketing efforts.
Today, I am proud to serve as the Rhea County Director of Tourism. This role is a dream come true, allowing me to contribute to the community that has always been my home. I am dedicated to promoting Rhea County's attractions, natural beauty, and cultural heritage, helping to boost tourism and support local businesses.
Life on a huge farm in Dayton is a source of immense joy and fulfillment for me. Alongside my loving husband, Jed, and our beautiful 4-year-old daughter, Savannah, Farming and spending time outdoors are not just hobbies but passions that ground me and provide a deep sense of connection to the land.
I look forward to making a positive impact in Rhea County and helping to create a brighter future for all who call this beautiful place home.
