Professional Bio
Angie Brady joined the Visit Clarksville team as the Executive Director in January 2024, with 20 years of experience in destination management, product development, sales, and marketing.
Prior to joining the Clarksville team, Angie served as the Director of Tourism Marketing at DistiNCtly Fayetteville (previously known as the Fayetteville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau). Angie began her journey there in November 2008 as the Tourism Development Manager. She also worked with the Johnston County Visitors Bureau as the Sales and Services Manager. Angie started her career in the destination marketing world in February 2000, at the Greenville, SC, CVB.
Angie is a 1999 graduate of NC State University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management with a concentration in resort management and commercial tourism. It was during her tenure at NC State that she completed an internship with the Raleigh CVB and knew destination marketing was the career for her. In May 2020, Angie received her Master of Science (MS) in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University.
Angie received her Travel Marketing Professional from the Southeast Tourism Society (STS) in 2012. In 2014, she was accepted into the inaugural class of Forty For the Future. Angie currently serves as the TN Representative on the STS Board of Directors as well as the Marketing College Curriculum Review Committee.
Since Fall 2024, she has served as an adjunct instructor for the Hospitality concentration at APSU in the School of Management and Marketing. In May 2025, she graduated from Leadership Clarksville and served as class co-president. Angie was most recently nominated to the United Way Advisory Board as well as the Leadership Clarks-ville Board of Directors.
In July 2025, she received her Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) through Destinations International.
Angie views tourism as the starting point for economic development.
