Professional Bio
Anne G. Ross, CTIS, CTTP, TMP has over 30 years of experience in tourism sales and marketing. Before her tenure as the Director of Tourism at the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce, she was one of the founding employees of the Miami County (Ohio) Visitors & Convention Bureau, the Senior Sales Manager at the Pigeon Forge Dept. of Tourism, and the Director of Sales for Explore Oak Ridge. Anne served on the board of directors and executive committee of the Ohio Travel Association and Heartland Travel Showcase, chaired the American Bus Association’s Certified Travel Industry Specialist committee, and is a past board and executive committee member of the Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Association. She is a former president of the Middle East Tennessee Tourism Council (METTC) and a two-time recipient of the Chuck Davis Tourism Leader of the Year award. Anne is a past board president of the Rose Center Council for the Arts and former board member of the General Longstreet Museum in Morristown. A lector and president of Episcopal Church Women at All Saints Episcopal Church, she also serves as marketing director for their very successful twice-yearly BBQ sale. Anne resides in Morristown close to Cherokee Lake with her Russell Terrier, Oliver.
