Brandon Phinx

Brandon Phinx serves as the State Apprenticeship Director at the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, where he leads the expansion and alignment of Registered Apprenticeship programs across the state. He works to connect employers, education partners, and job seekers through strategic, data-informed workforce solutions that drive economic growth and create sustainable career pathways.
Brandon began his career in workforce development as a customer service representative, which sparked his passion for helping individuals access skills training and meaningful employment. He now focuses on building scalable apprenticeship programs, supporting employers in talent development, and expanding access to earn-and-learn opportunities across Tennessee.
