Jill Kilgore

Jill Kilgore serves as the Senior Communications Manager for the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development (TDTD), where she manages domestic and international media campaigns to promote tourism across the state. Jill is a skilled project manager and leads PR strategy for statewide campaigns and events including the industry's annual Economic Impact, Tennessee Songwriters Week, international media familiarization tours, and more. She served on the TN Woman 100 Committee with the purpose of coordinating women's suffrage centennial celebrations across the state. Jill joined the TDTD team in 2017 following a successful career in TV, having worked as a producer at multiple stations including Nashville's WZTV and WGNO-ABC in New Orleans. Jill was awarded the Governor’s Excellence in Service award in Fall 2020. She graduated in Dec. 2022 from LEAD Tennessee, a leadership and executive coaching program with Tennessee state government. In 2023, she was awarded State Tourism Ambassador by Travel South USA. In her spare time, she enjoys writing short stories, painting, hiking and walks with her husband and rescue beagle, Nora, and serves as a volunteer for Nashville Public Library.
