Professional Bio
Kaitlin brings over a decade of experience connecting schools, employers, and communities to strengthen workforce and education efforts across Tennessee. In July 2025, she was promoted to Senior Vice President of Education and Workforce Development for the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, after serving as Talent Development Director since 2021.
In her role, she leads initiatives that help students explore careers, grow work-based learning opportunities, and build closer ties between local employers and schools in high-demand industries.
Before joining the Rutherford County Chamber, Kaitlin led education and workforce programs for the Highlands Economic Partnership, supporting job growth and talent development across the Upper Cumberland region. Her efforts helped secure funding for student-focused initiatives and expanded career access for rural and underserved students.
Kaitlin is deeply involved in regional and statewide workforce development. She currently serves on the Northern Middle Tennessee Workforce Board, the Advisory Board for the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring, United Way of South-Central Tennessee’s Launch Point Steering Committee, and the Bright Start TN South Central Steering Committee through Tennesseans for Quality Early Education (TQEE). She previously served on the Upper Cumberland Tennessee Workforce Board, TCAT Livingston’s Community Advisory Council, and the Tennessee Department of Education’s CTE Leadership Council.
A passionate advocate for public service and education access, Kaitlin is also a longtime tnAchieves mentor. She earned her B.S. in Sociology with a concentration in Social Work from Tennessee Tech University and is a 2025 graduate of Leadership Rutherford.
