Shawn Danko is President of Kooky Canuck, an award-winning independent restaurant in downtown Memphis celebrating more than 21 years of serving guests from around the world. The restaurant has been featured on Man v. Food, You Gotta Eat Here, Trailer Park Boys, and other national media, earning a reputation as one of Memphis' premier dining destinations.
A passionate advocate for Tennessee's hospitality industry, Shawn has served in leadership and board roles with the Memphis Restaurant Association, Metro Memphis Hotel & Lodging Association, Memphis in May International Festival, the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum, and the Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Association (TNHTA). He is a strong proponent of hospitality advocacy and Political Action Committees, believing that industry engagement is essential to shaping sound public policy.
